Hello all, This past weekend we came to a decision that no doubt some of you may not like but we feel it is necessary if we want to continue with EOL. We have decided that we will finish our April tour schedule, we'll be doing the interview on Rock Vacation on May 1 and we will be appearing at Bonestock 3 in Poplar Bluff, MO on June 2. Aside from those we will not be playing any more shows over the summer.

We're basically going to lock ourselves in our rehearsal space and do nothing but write and rehearse new music all summer. Then by Fall 2007 we'll more than likely going to be changing our name, recording a new album or EP and then re-debuting and picking right up where we left off.

So what is bringing all this on you ask? We feel like we have hit a wall with the Essence Of Logic name and done all we can with it. We wrote some great stuff which we and you have loved but we feel like it has become stale and overplayed by the band itself. We're looking to progress more musically and try some new and diferent things. We aren't going to change our style, don't worry. We'll still be keeping it funky the way we always do, we'll just be trying to some new things with that sound. Everyone on our mailing list and street team will remain as well.

We love you all and thank you for your continued support and if we have ever needed your support, it is right now. We are excited about this transition and we know that only good things can come out of it. Stick with us, you know we'll keep you posted on happenings and in the meantime get out and see us before we become total recluses for the summer while we write and rehearse!
